How do I care for my jewelry?
We don’t want your special moments to fade. To keep your jewelry beautiful and lasting, here are some easy care tips.
Gold-plated / silver-plated over sterling silver or brass
These pieces are a little more delicate — treat them with extra care:
- Keep them dry. Don’t do laundry or wash dishes with them on.
- Avoid water and chemicals. Don’t wear them in the pool, at a spa, or in seawater.
- Take them off before working out.
- Keep them away from body chemistry — perfume, lotion, hand cream and similar products.
- Skip jewelry cleaner. It’s too harsh for plated pieces.
- Store them properly — in a sealed bag and box, in a dry, clean place when you’re not wearing them.
Gold-plated / silver-plated over stainless steel
Our 316L stainless steel pieces are waterproof and far more resilient. Still, keep them away from harsh or sharp objects to avoid surface scratches.
