What materials is your jewelry made of?
316L stainless steel — our core material
Most of our pieces are crafted from 316L stainless steel, a high-performance, marine-grade alloy also used in luxury watches and yacht hardware. It’s:
- Waterproof, sweat-proof and fade-resistant
- Hypoallergenic and gentle on sensitive skin (very low nickel ion release)
- Non-magnetic and highly stable, with a self-repairing protective layer that resists corrosion
- 100% recyclable — built to last for years, not seasons
Other materials we use
Some pieces are made from nickel-free 925 sterling silver or high-quality copper with PVD plating:
- 925 silver offers classic precious-metal aesthetics, but naturally oxidizes and needs occasional polishing.
- PVD-plated copper allows for intricate shapes and detail. It’s lead-free with premium plating, though it may show wear over time with heavy use.
Every material we use meets strict safety standards — our silver is nickel-free and our copper pieces are lead-free. Plated pieces simply need a little more care than our stainless steel.
