If it keeps happening, contact your bank — and feel free to [email us](mailto:info@meideyajewelry.com) if you'd like a hand. --- # How can I find my order? URL: https://support.meideyajewelry.com/articles/find-my-order Category: Orders & Payment When you receive an **order confirmation email**, it means your order has been accepted by us. We suggest saving this confirmation for future reference — it contains your order number, which is handy whenever you contact us. See [I didn't receive an order confirmation](/articles/order-confirmation-email), or email us at [info@meideyajewelry.com](mailto:info@meideyajewelry.com) and we'll look it up for you. --- # I didn't receive an order confirmation email URL: https://support.meideyajewelry.com/articles/order-confirmation-email Category: Orders & Payment Order confirmation emails are sent automatically right after checkout. If you haven't received yours, please: 1. **Check your spam or junk folder** — automated emails sometimes land there. 2. **Confirm the email address** you used at checkout was entered correctly. 3. **Wait a few minutes** — delivery can occasionally be delayed. If it still hasn't arrived, email us at [info@meideyajewelry.com](mailto:info@meideyajewelry.com) with the name and address used on the order, and we'll confirm whether it went through and resend your details. --- # Why was my order cancelled or rejected? URL: https://support.meideyajewelry.com/articles/why-order-rejected Category: Orders & Payment In some cases we may cancel or decline an order. This can happen for a few reasons — for example: - The personal or address information provided appears to be **incorrect or incomplete**. - There is a record of **non-payment** associated with the account. - Payment was **not completed** — an order is only processed once we receive full payment. If your order was cancelled and you believe it was in error, please reach out to [info@meideyajewelry.com](mailto:info@meideyajewelry.com). We're happy to look into it and help you place a new order if needed. --- # Why isn't my discount code working? URL: https://support.meideyajewelry.com/articles/discount-code-not-working Category: Orders & Payment If your promo code won't apply, it's usually one of these: - **A typo or extra space** — copy and paste the code exactly, with no spaces before or after. - **The code has expired** or hasn't started yet. - **Excluded items** — sale, Last Chance, or certain collections may not be eligible. - **One code per order** — most discount codes can't be combined with another code or offer. - **A minimum spend** hasn't been reached. Enter the code in the **discount box at checkout** and select **Apply** before paying. If it still won't work and you believe it should, email us at [info@meideyajewelry.com](mailto:info@meideyajewelry.com) with the code and your cart, and we'll help. --- # Can I send an order as a gift? URL: https://support.meideyajewelry.com/articles/send-as-gift Category: Orders & Payment Yes — you're welcome to send an order straight to the lucky recipient. - **Ship to them directly:** enter the recipient's name and address as the **shipping address** at checkout. Your billing details stay separate. - **Prices:** we don't include pricing on the packing materials, but we can't guarantee a fully separate gift receipt — if this matters, email us after ordering and we'll do our best. - **Make it personal:** initial, nameplate and birthstone pieces make lovely gifts — see our [personalized jewelry](/articles/personalized-initial-guide) and [birthstone](/articles/birthstone-gift-guide) guides. Remember that engraved/personalized items are **final sale**. Need the address corrected after ordering? See [Can I change or cancel my order?](/articles/change-or-cancel-order) and contact us quickly. --- # How do I track my order? Where is my package? URL: https://support.meideyajewelry.com/articles/track-my-order Category: Shipping & Delivery Once your order ships, we'll email you a tracking number. - **For the international leg**, use the tracking link in your shipping confirmation email. - **Once your package reaches the US**, USPS handles final delivery — you can track it anytime at [usps.com](https://www.usps.com) using the same tracking number. International shipments can go quiet in transit for a few days, so a pause in updates is normal — see [Why isn't my tracking updating?](/articles/tracking-not-updating). If it's been longer than expected or you can't find your tracking number, just reply to your order email or [contact us](/articles/contact-customer-care) — we'll check on it right away. --- # My package is lost, or tracking says delivered but I haven't received it URL: https://support.meideyajewelry.com/articles/order-not-arrived Category: Shipping & Delivery We're sorry — we know this is stressful, and we'll help you sort it out. Please try these first: 1. Carriers sometimes scan a package as **"delivered" a day or two early**, so it may still arrive shortly. 2. Look for a **small silver plastic mailer** — it's easy to miss. Check your mailbox, front door, porch and any safe spots, and ask household members or neighbours. 3. **Contact your local post office** with your tracking number — they can often tell you exactly where it was left. If you've checked all of the above and still can't find it, [contact us](/articles/contact-customer-care) with your order number and we'll open an inquiry with the carrier and find the best way to make it right. --- # How long does shipping take? When will my order arrive? URL: https://support.meideyajewelry.com/articles/shipping-times Category: Shipping & Delivery Orders are usually **dispatched from our warehouse within 1–3 business days** after being placed. You'll receive a tracking number as soon as your order ships. **Estimated delivery times vary by region** — see our [Order & Shipping page](https://meideyajewelry.com/pages/order-and-shipping) for the latest estimates for your country. A few things to keep in mind: - Delivery times depend on the courier and can't be guaranteed. - Orders to remote areas, or during peak seasons (such as Christmas and New Year), may take longer. - Express shipping isn't available to every country. If you need your order by a specific date, [contact us](/articles/contact-customer-care) before ordering and we'll tell you what's possible. Please also make sure your shipping address is correct — we aren't responsible for address errors once an order has left our facility. --- # Do you ship worldwide? URL: https://support.meideyajewelry.com/articles/do-you-ship-worldwide Category: Shipping & Delivery **Yes — we ship worldwide.** 🌍 For standard shipping, **customs duties and taxes are covered**, so there are no surprise fees on delivery in most cases. Delivery times depend on your destination and when the order is placed — see [How long does shipping take?](/articles/shipping-times) for estimates by country. For more on duties in rare cases (such as express shipments to Europe), see [Do I need to pay taxes or duties?](/articles/customs-duties-taxes) --- # Why isn't my tracking updating? URL: https://support.meideyajewelry.com/articles/tracking-not-updating Category: Shipping & Delivery This is normal, especially for international orders. Once your package leaves our country, **the tracking information usually won't update until the package passes through your country's customs.** When the barcode on the package is next scanned, the tracking will update again. So a quiet period in the middle of transit doesn't mean anything is wrong — it simply means your parcel is in transit or awaiting a customs scan. If your tracking hasn't updated for an unusually long time, email us at [info@meideyajewelry.com](mailto:info@meideyajewelry.com) with your order number and we'll look into it for you. --- # Do I need to pay taxes or duties? URL: https://support.meideyajewelry.com/articles/customs-duties-taxes Category: Shipping & Delivery **No taxes or duties are required via standard shipping** — these are covered. In rare cases, taxes or duties may apply when packages are shipped to **Europe via express shipping**. If your local authorities require duties, the postal company may contact you for more information, such as a tax ID, to complete customs clearance. For specific duty and tax information in your country, please contact your **local customs office** — they can give you the most accurate details for your location. --- # Why was my package returned to sender? URL: https://support.meideyajewelry.com/articles/package-returned-to-sender Category: Shipping & Delivery There are a few reasons a package may be sent back to us: - The **receiver address is incorrect**. - The **receiver address is incomplete**. - The package was **unclaimed** at the local office beyond the holding period. If the package was returned due to a buyer-side reason (such as an incorrect address or an unclaimed parcel), an **additional shipping fee** applies to send it back out to you. To get your order moving again, email us at [info@meideyajewelry.com](mailto:info@meideyajewelry.com) with your order number and the correct, complete shipping address. --- # Why was my order shipped in separate packages? URL: https://support.meideyajewelry.com/articles/order-shipped-separately Category: Shipping & Delivery If you ordered several items, they may arrive in **more than one package**. This is normal and there's no extra charge to you. It usually happens because: - Items ship from **different parts of our warehouse** or at slightly different times. - One item is ready to dispatch sooner than another, and we'd rather not hold up your whole order. Each package has its **own tracking number**, so you may receive more than one shipping update. Track them at [17track.net](https://www.17track.net/en) — see [How do I track my order?](/articles/track-my-order) If one part of your order hasn't arrived within the expected window, see [My order hasn't arrived yet](/articles/order-not-arrived) or email us with your order number. --- # How do I get a refund? Refund timeline URL: https://support.meideyajewelry.com/articles/refund-timing Category: Returns & Exchanges After you return an eligible item and we receive and inspect it, we issue your refund to your **original payment method**. Timing depends on how you paid: - **Credit or debit card:** typically **3–7 business days** after we issue the refund, depending on your bank. - **PayPal:** credited **instantly** once we process the refund. ### If your order used a promotion If your order used a promotion (such as **Buy 2 Get 1 Free**), returning a paid item changes the discount — the free item goes back to full price, so the refundable amount may be small. In that case we'll often suggest a **gift card for the equal product value** instead (it never expires and makes a lovely gift). We'll always lay out your options so you can choose what works best for you. To start, see [What is your return policy?](/articles/return-policy) --- # How do I exchange for a different size? URL: https://support.meideyajewelry.com/articles/how-to-exchange Category: Returns & Exchanges Need a different size? We've got you. [Contact us](/articles/contact-customer-care) with your order number and the item and size you'd like, and we'll confirm availability. - **If your size is in stock**, we'll walk you through the exchange. - **If it's out of stock**, we can suggest a similar piece in your size, or arrange a return. Not sure of your size? Check our [ring size guide](https://meideyajewelry.com/pages/ring-sizing) before ordering for the best fit. --- # What is your return policy? How do I start a return? URL: https://support.meideyajewelry.com/articles/how-to-return Category: Returns & Exchanges Returns are simple — just follow these steps: 1. **Request authorization first.** Email [info@meideyajewelry.com](mailto:info@meideyajewelry.com) with your **order number** and the item(s) you'd like to return, **within 30 days of delivery**. All returns must be authorized before being sent back. 2. **Pack it up.** Make sure the item (including any gifts) is **unworn, undamaged and in its original packaging**. 3. **Post within 7 days.** Once we provide the return address, please send the package within **7 days**. Note: piercing items and final-sale/personalized pieces can't be returned — see the [full policy](/articles/return-policy). --- # Which items can't be returned or exchanged? URL: https://support.meideyajewelry.com/articles/non-returnable-items Category: Returns & Exchanges For hygiene and product reasons, the following can't be returned or exchanged: - **Piercing items** — earrings and other piercing jewelry can't be returned, for hygiene reasons. - **Final sale items** — all **Last Chance** products are final sale at the time of purchase. - **Engraved or personalized jewelry** — because these are made just for you, they can't be returned or exchanged. Everything else can be returned within **30 days of delivery**, provided it's unworn, undamaged and in its original packaging. See the [full return policy](/articles/return-policy). Received something **damaged, wrong or defective**? That's different — please see [I received a damaged, wrong or defective item](/articles/damaged-or-wrong-item). --- # I received a damaged, wrong or defective item URL: https://support.meideyajewelry.com/articles/damaged-or-wrong-item Category: Returns & Exchanges We're sorry if something arrived not quite right — we'll make it right. Please email [info@meideyajewelry.com](mailto:info@meideyajewelry.com) **within the 30-day window** and include: - Your **order number** - A short description of the issue (damaged, wrong item, or a defect) - **Photos** of the item and, if relevant, the packaging Our jewelry is covered against **defects in materials or craftsmanship**, so once we've reviewed the details we'll arrange the best solution — a replacement or a refund in line with our policy. Please note that everyday wear and tear, accidental damage, or issues from improper care aren't considered defects — see [Do you offer a warranty?](/articles/warranty) for what's covered. --- # My ring broke or a stone fell out — is it covered? URL: https://support.meideyajewelry.com/articles/warranty Category: Jewelry Care & Materials We're so sorry to hear that. Here's how our warranty works: - **Stainless steel** pieces are covered by a **1-year warranty from the delivery date** — if something breaks within that time, we'll arrange a replacement. - For **other materials** (e.g. brass, silver), we handle these **case by case** — please send a photo of the item with your order number and we'll do our best to help. [Contact us](/articles/contact-customer-care) with your order number and a photo, and we'll confirm the details and the best shipping address for any replacement. ### What the warranty doesn't cover Everyday wear and tear, accidents, or issues from improper care aren't covered — for example scratches, bent pieces, stones lost from a knock, or damage from household chemicals, perfume or water. Our [jewelry care guide](/articles/jewelry-care-guide) helps keep your pieces their best. --- # How do I care for my jewelry? URL: https://support.meideyajewelry.com/articles/jewelry-care-guide Category: Jewelry Care & Materials We don't want your special moments to fade. To keep your jewelry beautiful and lasting, here are some easy care tips. ### Gold-plated / silver-plated over sterling silver or brass These pieces are a little more delicate — treat them with extra care: - **Keep them dry.** Don't do laundry or wash dishes with them on. - **Avoid water and chemicals.** Don't wear them in the pool, at a spa, or in seawater. - **Take them off before working out.** - **Keep them away from body chemistry** — perfume, lotion, hand cream and similar products. - **Skip jewelry cleaner.** It's too harsh for plated pieces. - **Store them properly** — in a sealed bag and box, in a dry, clean place when you're not wearing them. ### Gold-plated / silver-plated over stainless steel Our 316L stainless steel pieces are **waterproof** and far more resilient. Still, keep them away from harsh or sharp objects to avoid surface scratches. Want to know what your piece is made of? See [What materials is your jewelry made of?](/articles/our-materials) --- # Is your gold real? What does “18k gold-plated” mean? URL: https://support.meideyajewelry.com/articles/is-it-real-gold Category: Jewelry Care & Materials Most of our gold-tone jewelry is **18k gold-plated over 316L stainless steel** — not solid gold, and we're always upfront about that. Here's what that means: - **18k gold-plated** = a real layer of 18k gold bonded to the surface of a durable base metal. On our core pieces that base is **316L stainless steel**, and the gold is applied by **PVD** (physical vapor deposition), which bonds it at a molecular level so it resists wear far better than cheap electroplating. - The result is the **look of gold** with everyday durability — it resists tarnish and water, unlike gold-plated brass. See [gold that doesn't tarnish](/articles/gold-that-doesnt-tarnish). - Some pieces use nickel-free 925 silver or PVD-plated copper instead — full details in [what our jewelry is made of](/articles/our-materials). This is what we mean by **affordable luxury**: a real metal core and a real gold layer, without solid-gold prices. --- # Will my jewelry tarnish or turn my skin green? URL: https://support.meideyajewelry.com/articles/will-it-tarnish Category: Jewelry Care & Materials Our core collection is made from **316L stainless steel**, chosen specifically so you don't have to worry about this. It's **anti-tarnish and fade-resistant**, and its biocompatibility means it won't leave green marks or irritate skin the way cheap alloys can. Wear it through workouts, showers and beach days — it's designed to keep its shine. **Plated pieces** (gold or silver plating over sterling silver or brass) are more delicate. With good care they stay beautiful, but they can show wear over time, especially with exposure to water, sweat, perfume or lotion. Follow our [care tips](/articles/jewelry-care-guide) to keep them looking their best. Not sure which material your piece is? See [What materials is your jewelry made of?](/articles/our-materials) --- # Is your jewelry waterproof? URL: https://support.meideyajewelry.com/articles/is-it-waterproof Category: Jewelry Care & Materials It depends on the material: - **316L stainless steel** (our core collection) is genuinely **life-proof** — waterproof, sweat-proof and resistant to chlorine. You can swim, shower and sweat in it without worry. Just keep it away from harsh or sharp objects to avoid scratches. - **Plated pieces over sterling silver or brass** should be **kept dry**. Avoid wearing them in the pool, spa or seawater, and take them off before exercise or showering. When in doubt, check the product description for the material, or follow our [jewelry care guide](/articles/jewelry-care-guide). --- # What materials is your jewelry made of? URL: https://support.meideyajewelry.com/articles/our-materials Category: Jewelry Care & Materials ### 316L stainless steel — our core material Most of our pieces are crafted from **316L stainless steel**, a high-performance, marine-grade alloy also used in luxury watches and yacht hardware. It's: - **Waterproof, sweat-proof and fade-resistant** - **Hypoallergenic** and gentle on sensitive skin (very low nickel ion release) - **Non-magnetic and highly stable**, with a self-repairing protective layer that resists corrosion - **100% recyclable** — built to last for years, not seasons ### Other materials we use Some pieces are made from **nickel-free 925 sterling silver** or **high-quality copper with PVD plating**: - **925 silver** offers classic precious-metal aesthetics, but naturally oxidizes and needs occasional polishing. - **PVD-plated copper** allows for intricate shapes and detail. It's lead-free with premium plating, though it may show wear over time with heavy use. Every material we use meets strict safety standards — our silver is nickel-free and our copper pieces are lead-free. Plated pieces simply need a little [more care](/articles/jewelry-care-guide) than our stainless steel. --- # Is your jewelry hypoallergenic / safe for sensitive skin? URL: https://support.meideyajewelry.com/articles/hypoallergenic-sensitive-skin Category: Jewelry Care & Materials Yes. Sensitive skin is exactly why we built our collection around **316L stainless steel**. Unlike cheaper alloys that can cause reactions through nickel leaching, 316L is **biocompatible** and has a very **low ion-release rate**, so it stays comfortable and irritation-free even with prolonged skin contact — whether you wear it for hours or sleep in it. For our other materials: - **925 sterling silver** is **nickel-free**. - **Copper pieces** are **lead-free** with premium PVD plating. Every material we use meets strict safety standards. If you have specific skin sensitivities and aren't sure which pieces suit you best, [email us](mailto:info@meideyajewelry.com) — we're happy to point you to our hypoallergenic 316L steel range. --- # How do I find my ring size? URL: https://support.meideyajewelry.com/articles/find-my-ring-size Category: Ring Sizing & Fit There are two easy ways to find your size at home. ### Method 1 — measure your finger 1. Wrap a strip of paper or a piece of string snugly around the base of your finger. 2. Mark where the ends meet. 3. Measure the length in millimetres — that's your **finger circumference**. 4. Match it to the chart below. ### Method 2 — measure a ring you own Take a ring that already fits the right finger and measure its **inside diameter** in millimetres, then match it below. ### US ring size chart | US size | Inside diameter | Circumference | | --- | --- | --- | | 5 | 15.7 mm | 49.3 mm | | 6 | 16.5 mm | 51.9 mm | | 7 | 17.3 mm | 54.4 mm | | 8 | 18.2 mm | 57.0 mm | | 9 | 19.0 mm | 59.5 mm | ### Tips for an accurate fit - Measure at the **end of the day**, when fingers are at their largest. - Avoid measuring when your hands are cold. - If you're between sizes, size **up**. You can also use the **Ring Sizer** tool on [meideyajewelry.com](https://meideyajewelry.com/pages/ring-sizing). Still unsure? [Email us](mailto:info@meideyajewelry.com) and we'll help you find the right fit. --- # My ring doesn't fit — what can I do? URL: https://support.meideyajewelry.com/articles/resize-or-wrong-size Category: Ring Sizing & Fit If your ring doesn't fit, the easiest option is to **exchange it for a different size** within **30 days of delivery**, as long as it's **unworn and in its original packaging**. To start, email [info@meideyajewelry.com](mailto:info@meideyajewelry.com) with your **order number** and the **size** you'd like instead. See [How do I exchange an item?](/articles/how-to-exchange) for the full steps. A couple of things to keep in mind: - Customers are responsible for the shipping/processing fee on exchanges. - **Engraved or personalized rings** are final sale and can't be exchanged. Not sure which size to order next time? Our [ring sizing guide](/articles/find-my-ring-size) walks you through measuring at home. --- # Ear cuffs: a no-piercing styling guide URL: https://support.meideyajewelry.com/articles/ear-cuffs-guide Category: Buying & Style Guides An ear cuff is the easiest way to get the layered "curated ear" look with **zero piercings** — you simply slide a slip-on cuff onto the rim or mid-cartilage of your ear and gently squeeze for a secure fit. ### The quick version - A true no-piercing cuff is a **slip-on, adjustable band** that grips by tension, not a post. (Skip "cuffs" that are really threaders or studs in disguise — those need a hole.) - **Fit decides comfort**, not price. A cuff sized to your cartilage holds all day without pinching. - For pieces you'll wear in the shower and at the gym, **18k gold-plated 316L stainless steel** gives the gold look that lasts — see [our materials](/articles/our-materials) and whether it's [waterproof](/articles/is-it-waterproof). - To stack, start with one **bolder cuff on the mid-cartilage**, then add a thinner one higher up. Want the full breakdown of cuff types, stacking and care? Read the complete guide on our blog. --- # CZ tennis necklaces: a buyer's guide URL: https://support.meideyajewelry.com/articles/tennis-necklace-guide Category: Buying & Style Guides A **CZ tennis necklace** gives you the unbroken, light-catching line of a classic diamond tennis necklace at a fraction of the cost — buy on stone quality, setting security and an honest base metal. ### The quick version - A tennis necklace is defined by its **continuous, unbroken line** of individually set stones — no pendant, no gaps. CZ delivers that look honestly; it isn't a diamond and we never pretend it is. - What matters most is **setting security + stone cut**. Well-cut AAA cubic zirconia (Mohs ~8.5) throws bright fire; a loose stone in a flimsy setting is the real failure point. - Be aware that most CZ tennis pieces — including ours — are **18k gold-plated brass**, not solid gold, so they need a little [care](/articles/jewelry-care-guide). For lengths, layering and how to spot quality, read the full guide on our blog. --- # Gold jewelry that doesn't tarnish URL: https://support.meideyajewelry.com/articles/gold-that-doesnt-tarnish Category: Buying & Style Guides The gold jewelry that genuinely **doesn't tarnish** is **18k gold-plated over a solid 316L stainless steel base**, where the gold is bonded by **PVD** (physical vapor deposition) rather than dipped on by traditional electroplating. ### The quick version - The **base metal decides everything**: 316L stainless steel resists tarnish; plated brass does not. The gold colour looks identical in photos — the metal underneath is what matters. - **How the gold is applied matters next**: PVD bonds the gold at a molecular level and outlasts thin electroplating, which wears and dulls. - For everyday, get-it-wet wear, a well-made **18k gold-plated 316L** piece is more practical than fragile solid gold. See also: [Will my jewelry tarnish?](/articles/will-it-tarnish) and [what our jewelry is made of](/articles/our-materials). The full guide is on our blog. --- # Jade jewelry: a style guide URL: https://support.meideyajewelry.com/articles/jade-jewelry-guide Category: Buying & Style Guides Jade jewelry is built around a **genuine natural stone** — jadeite or nephrite — set into metal. Styling it well comes down to two honest questions: is the jade natural rather than dyed, and what is the hardware actually made of? ### The quick version - "Jade" means one of two real minerals — **jadeite** (Mohs ~6.5–7) or **nephrite** (~6–6.5) — both genuine natural stones, durable enough for everyday wear with light care. - The decision that matters most is **natural vs. treated**: Type A is untreated, while Type B (bleached and polymer-filled) and Type C (dyed) are altered — so it's fair to ask which you're buying. - Affordable-luxury jade pieces set genuine jade into **18k gold-plated 316L stainless steel** — a surface plating, not solid gold, so follow our [care tips](/articles/jewelry-care-guide). Jade has carried meaning for thousands of years as the "stone of heaven." For wear-everyday jewelry, that's the right choice, not a downgrade. - For all-day, no-fuss wear the **metal matters more than the stone**: an 18k gold-plated 316L base resists tarnish and water. See [our materials](/articles/our-materials). Note: engraved or personalized birthstone pieces are **final sale** — see [which items can't be returned](/articles/non-returnable-items). The full month-by-month chart is on our blog. --- # Personalized initial & letter jewelry URL: https://support.meideyajewelry.com/articles/personalized-initial-guide Category: Buying & Style Guides For a personalized initial gift that survives daily wear, choose a **single-letter pendant or a custom nameplate on 18k gold-plated 316L stainless steel** rather than thin gold-plated brass — it keeps its colour in the shower and the gym. ### The quick version - **Format matters more than metal colour**: a single initial is the safest gift, a nameplate is the most personal, and a monogram is the most formal. - For something worn every day, the durable choice is **18k gold-plated 316L stainless steel** — a steel core that won't turn green like cheap brass. - **Order early** — anything customized takes longer to make and ship. ⚠️ **Important:** engraved and personalized pieces are **final sale** — they can't be [returned or exchanged](/articles/non-returnable-items), so double-check spelling and the chosen letter before ordering.
